Detailed Description:
Tablets for dogs over 11kg. The oral treatment for fast acting knockdown of adult fleas on cats and dogs. Composition: Nitenpyram 11.4 mg. Nitenpyram 57.0 mg. Capstar tablets are an easy to use oral treatment for the fast acting knockdown of adult fleas on cats and dogs. Capstar tablets start working within 30 minutes after dosing. Integrated flea control: Capstar provides immediate relief from fleas. For effective long-term flea control, an integrated approach is recommended. This means breaking the flea breeding cycle by using Capstar together with program tablets (G1293, G1294, G1564) for dogs, or program suspension (G1295) or program injectable suspension (G2420, G2421) for cats. Program contains an insect development inhibitor that will prevent the development of immature stages of the flea’s life cycle. Integrated flea control therefore breaks the flea life cycle at two places, generating a continuous defense against flea infestations. In the case of an existing flea infestation, the environmental flea burden will be reduced with the application of an environmental spray treatment such as FLEGO (L6759). Tel. Usage instructions:
Directions for use: Use only as directed. Administer one tablet according to bodymass when fleas are evident on your pet. Repeat when fleas are again evident on your pet. Capstar tablets can be administered to puppies and kittens from four weeks of age. Capstar tablets can be administered by mouth or can be mixed into a small portion of your pet’s favourite food. Flea infestation can be confirmed by examining the skin of your pet for signs of flea activity by parting the pet’s hair coat. The presence of flea dirt is a positive indication of a flea infestation. Dosage and administration: Body mass of cat or dog – dose (tablets). 0.5 to 11.0 kg – administer 1 small (11.4 mg nitenpyram) tablet on any day when fleas are evident on your pet. 11.1 to 57.0 kg – administer 1 large (57 mg nitenpyram) tablet on any day when fleas are evident on your pet. Over 57.1 kg – administer 1 large (57 mg nitenpyram) tablet plus 1 small (11.4 mg nitenpyram) tablet for every 11 kg over 57.1 kg on any day when fleas are evident on your pet.
